BAKER STREET COMMUNITY CHURCH
MINISTRIES |
Part
of our mission is to reach out to those in need not only in our church, but
in the community. There are various ways we meet those physical needs.
Please note that though these ministries are open to
everyone, we encourage people to attend church services and we approach
helping people from a spiritual, emotional, and physical perspective.
Spiritual Growth Ministries:
Amazing Word
- A group for our “seasoned” members,
meeting once a month at Chula Vista or touring around the state during the
summer. Click here
for details.
Special Services
- We offer special services for the children and another for teens several
times a year, as well as a Missions Festival, Passion Week services, etc.
Connections Life Groups
Groups of people who
share something in common, get together weekly to study God’s Word, pray and
eat together. Everyone is welcome
and encouraged to participate. Sometimes the group may decide to use a study book, but
most of the time it’s just studying God’s Word. Each group determines
what works best for them. They average is 90 minutes. All groups are supported by the church. Leaders meet certain criteria
set by the church in order to teach. Baker Street Community
Church adheres to Wesleyan doctrine. For a complete list

have received these shawls have been uplifted and affirmed, as if given
wings to fly above their troubles…”
