Part of our mission is to reach out to those in need not only in our church, but in the community.  There are various ways we meet those physical needs.  Please note that though these ministries are open to everyone, we encourage people to attend church services and we approach helping people from a spiritual, emotional, and physical perspective.

Spiritual Growth Ministries:

Amazing Grays - A group for our “seasoned” members, meeting once a month at Chula Vista or touring around the state during the summer. Click here for details.

Camp - During the summer we send our children and youth to camp for a week. There is camp for children, Junior High, and Senior High School students.

Special Services - We offer special services for the children and another for teens several times a year, as well as a Missions Festival, Passion Week services, etc.
 

Prayer Ministries

• Prayer forum – check prayer request online at your convenience (link here)
• Prayer cards – share on Sunday morning any requests you have
• Prayer chain – a means to handle emergency requests 24/7
• Community prayer – meeting at noon on Wednesday and Friday

Children’s Church - A program held during the adult sermon for the children, teaching them age appropriate Christian living.

Kidz Praize - An opportunity for children who love to sing.

Children’s Service - We offer a service by the kids for the kids once a quarter. (And we believe there is a kid in all of us!)

Comfort Ministries:

Shepherd's Loft - providing clothing and toys for families in need.

Under His Wings - A blanket ministry, serving children with emotional or spiritual needs.

Food Pantry - Occasionally providing food to free up money for other daily expenses

Financial Counseling – for those who have jobs and a little too much debt, we offer Crown Financial Ministries (link: http://crown.org/) seminars.  We also offer help with private one-on-one counseling for those barely able to make ends meet.

Spiritual Counseling – one on one counseling by Pastor or female staff.  Some of the Connection Groups also offer a group atmosphere of support.

Outreach Ministries:

Missions - Reaching Jerusalem, Judea, and the world with Christ

Vacation Bible School - We participate with the community VBS in Wisconsin Rapids.

RAP Club - We offer an after-school elementary program in two schools:  Mead, and Alexander in Nekoosa.

Service Ministries:

Kitchen - With various opportunities during the year, from the weekly coffee time after the worship service, to Wednesday meals, to periodic potlucks, anyone can help.

Usher Corps - A great place to get to know others in the church, this ministry serves Sunday mornings.

Technology Team - Today’s church is not your parent’s church! PowerPoint, Sound, and Video are just a few of the things this group oversees in the church.

Worship Team - We want to use the gifts God gives people, and music is a major part of worship for us.

Transportation - Offering free rides to our regular services, we are always looking for people to volunteer to help others out by driving.
